Meet the artist

Hello! My name is Mia, and I'm the artist behind Milkee Co.

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember; there are still 18-year-old drawings hung up in my parents' house. My dad is also an artist and always pushed me and inspired me to let my art speak for itself.

My art is my soul, and I am deeply in love with everything I create. When I'm not tattooing, I am crocheting a plushie, drawing in my sketchbook, coloring, or doing anything creative.

I want to be the kind of artist who is comforting and warm. My goal for every appointment is that my client leaves my studio with a piece of art that not only they love forever, but also has a good experience getting it, which they can look back on. I love the people who receive my art as much as I love creating art.

I have been tattooing since April 2021. I am a blackwork artist. I like to play with deep dark shadows and negative space for highlights. Using the skin itself to contrast the ink is my distinct style; the designs can even come out somewhat abstract and more about the body and lines than the image. Most of my focus is on creatures, animals, nature, but I have also done liquid abstract pieces. My current favorite subjects are fish, and my all-time favorite will always be skeletons.

My brand encompasses all of my passions around art, including other media. I have sold sticker sheets, plushies, and linocut prints. I hope to one day sell wearable art, keychains, and more. I am satisfied as long as I am creating and sharing what I create with my community.
